Core research of Intelligent/Automated Vehicles of LASIS is with emphasis on the safety of the intended functionality (SOTIF) for advanced vehicles, which would be in different profiles.
(a) Scenario analysis and reconstruction;
(b) Quantitative evaluation;
(c) Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as Automated Emergency Braking system; and
(d) Decision-making and control, including path planning, vehicle queue control and etc.
